Entering the retail world felt much like entering a crucible!
No, we did not go in, intending to "fight" with anyone. At the same time, we did not go in to be "consumed" by anyone, either.
Being new to something does not mean being unprepared for it. So, when challenges inevitably came our way, we stood our ground. Going into a "battle" mode is never easy, but we have the scars, trophies, and spoils as a reminder of all our achievements.
Whether those battles were related to competition, jealousy or envy, despise, or simply copycats, we were determined to not let anything or anyone undermine our efforts.
